The Adult Domestic Abuse
Recovery Toolkit

Who is it for: Females who have experienced domestic abuse and have separated from the abuser.
Duration: 2 hours per week for 12 weeks.

Courses are offered both daytime and evening, and an onside creche is available.
Topics included:

  • What is Abuse
  • Self-esteem, coping and psychological well-being
  • The effects of abuse on children and parenting skills
  • The power of positive self-talk
  • Coping with anger and conflict
  • Boundaries and trust
  • Losses and gains
  • Healthy relationships

Individuals can self refer via the helpline. If you are open to SWA domestic abuse services, please discuss with your key worker.
